Otakuthon Anime Convention
So Otakuthon has come to a close...That means that everyone in Montreal and beyond must wait another year for another anime convention to start, be it either Otakuthon or Anime North. And that also means that we will relish in whatever we bought from the conventiopns and wait another year to see what they have in store. I for one will want to participate in more activites and watch more screenings than I did last year and this year.

Getting out of my nostalgic phase...OTAKUTHON WAS SOO COOL!!!! It was well worth the wait and the fact that there were more things to do, or maybe there were better things to do than last year will make it a memorable experience,

I didn't go to the special opening on Friday, but I was able to go both days, considering last year I only went on Saturday because Sunday I had to study for an exam. But this year, we didn't do as much as we did today. For one, I bought all the stuff that I wanted to get on Saturday; the complete set of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children figurines and an Itachi hat. On Saturday alone, I spent about $100.00 total, and on Sunday about $30.00 in total. But I found very good deals so that helped alot. I think for next year, I'm going to focus on getting more plushies. I saw a Vincent plushie that I wanted but I got his figurine instead, so next year I'll get his plushie and I also want the two Mokonas.

I also took alot of pictures during the weekend, I didn't have a digital so my phone was the camera for me. I have exactly 80 pictures on my phone from a span if two days, since my phone can store up to a 100 photos. But maybe next year when I save even more money, I'll buy myself a digital camera so that I can upload them onto DA.

On Sunday we did more activites than yesterday. For one, there was the Pocky Hunt, in which our group was the first to entre and the first to win.Corr-chan and Tess-chan stayed in one spot looking for answers in the booklet, in which there were, and Tess-chan's brother, Luke and myself, went around the Concordia campus looking for clues that weren't in the booklet. The moral of this story was that we got free sugar. After the Pocky Hunt, we went to the Cosplay Cafe, where Corr-chan and I ate our first meal of the day.

We then proceeded to the Dealer's Room for last minute shopping. I bought my brother teo plushies: an Urahara and a small red Mushroon from Mario. It's so KAWAIII!!!! After the Dealer's Room, Corr-chan and I went to go eat at this really good noodle place and then for some Bubble Tea.

Hana Yori Dango was playing so we didn't want to miss that, so we left Tess-chan and her brother to go where ever they went and Corr-chan and I watched HYD. After than we played a fifteen minute round of "Name That Tune" and then "Win, Loose or Draw". That game was fun and I won free stuff. Basically what it was is that there were teams of two with three people in each team, and someone from each team had to draw something, an anime, on the board and the other team members had to guess what it was. So it's like sherades, but better. The anime that got me my free stuff was xxxHOLiC.

Anyways, it's late and I have my orentation tomorrow, so I'm meeting up with Tess-chan at her house around 1:00pm-ish.

Laterz ^ ~.

HYD
Yeah it was the live-action one, but it only showed the first two episodes. But I have both seasons, so I wasn't angry when it wasn't playing anymore.
